SPA launches new website and logo

With a view to reach out further and quicker to the public we serve, The Seychelles Planning Authority is continuously finding ways to improve its services, deliverables as well as promoting a culture of compliance and acquiescence in the Building and Construction industry.
With the economic climate continuously improving, and the nation becoming more affluent, prosperous and sophisticated, the country since the last decade has seen rapid development in the construction sector. Thus, the populated islands of Seychelles have seen unprecedented increase in urbanization across the country, and The Seychelles Planning Authority has no choice but to gear up and stretch its resources to meet the call of the construction market.
This has prompt The Seychelles Planning Authority to conduct a one-day Workshop with its staff and immediate stakeholders on Wednesday 3 rd May 2017, on the 6 th Floor at The Independence House, Annex Building to come up with discussions on strategies, ways and means to address the multiple challenges of the Construction Sector from a planning regulatory perspective. All media organisations are cordially invited to attend the morning session of The Workshop which will have the following proceedings:
1. The branding of the Authority through unveiling of its New Logo
2. The Launching of the Authority first ever Website
3. Presentations of facts and figures on the trend in construction based on figures recorded in the Authority over the past years
4. New measures being put in place to improve our services to the Public
As part of Seychelles Planning Authority's bid to improve it's services we have been working working closely with Maven, the local design agency, to create a modern and practical website to act as the digital face of the Seychelles Planning Authority. Our new site embraces current design methedologies to work crisply across both desktop and mobile devices.
