    Development Control (DC) Applications

    Development Control (DC) applications encompass large-scale and complex projects, such as commercial, industrial, tourism, agricultural proposals, and significant residential developments. Use this checklist to prepare a complete submission:

    • Completed Application Form: Ensure all sections of the form are filled out accurately.
    • Site Plan and Land Use Plan: Detailed layout of the proposed development, including access points and boundaries.
    • Architectural Drawings: Comprehensive building plans showing elevations, sections, and floor layouts.
    • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Required for projects that could significantly impact the environment.
    • Survey Plan: An updated plan certified by a licensed surveyor.
    • Geotechnical Report: If applicable, especially for projects involving retaining walls over 1.5m.
    • Compliance Certificate: Proof of compliance with zoning and land use regulations.
    • Land Ownership Documentation: Title deed or a notarized letter of consent from the landowner.

    Minor Works (MW) Application checklist

    • Completed Application Form: Filled with precise details about the minor work.
    • Sketch Plan: A basic plan outlining the addition or modification.
    • Supporting Photos: Images of the existing structure where changes will be made.
    • Proof of Ownership: Title deed or landowner consent.
    • Description of Works: A brief written description of the proposed work (e.g., extensions below 40m², fences, or gates).
    • Compliance Certificate: If needed, confirm that the work adheres to local regulations.

    Certificate of Permitted Subdivision (CPS) Application checklist

    This category covers subdivision projects involving up to three residential plots or subdivisions that address existing encroachments. The required documents include:

    • Completed Application Form: Fully detailed and signed.
    • Survey Plan: Certified by a licensed surveyor, showing the proposed subdivision.
